Help With League Rules

What we have our 7's and 8's seperated, so I'll let you know what we do in 2A (8's). The first half of the season is completely hitting machines and the second half is half game machine, half game kid pitch. This teaches the batters hpw to hit, the fielders how to field, and then starts developing pitchers. You must remember that 95% of 8's can't pitch and probably 99% of 7's. Let them develop the other skills and worry about pitching when the kids are ready.
